Looks good. I have an aunt that can't have gluten or dairy or nuts. So I'm going to try making these using a gluten free flour and lactose free butter to see how they turn out. I'll have to double check on the butter. I know she doesn't use margarine but has an expensive butter substitute she uses.

Her dietary restrictions are several pages long and some she can have on occasion and some she can't have at all and it's hard to keep it straight, so I'm always looking for recipes that can be altered for her.

If you're concerned about how healthy cookies are, you're probably doing something wrong.
It's just butter, flour, and a little sugar. I'm sure it's fine.

Those are indeed shortbreads. Well done.
Thanks. They're delicious! I didn't have any chocolate to melt for them so tried both a chocolate and vanilla glaze but it didn't really add anything to the taste. They are good without it though.
