One of the few dubs I watch over subs is Pokemon. Do you know what Meowth's voice sounds in Japanese? It's nails on a chalkboard. Can't stand it. And that's not just because I grew up with the English dub of Pokemon. I also refuse to watch Pokemon subbed, but it's primarily due to the names and not the voice acting. I'm just far too accustomed to the English names from the games, so hearing Charizard be called "Lizardon" after 25+ years of Charizard being Charizard to me would drive me crazy. deoxxys posted... Shows people who are wrong about: IMO, Kill La Kill is one of those shows that sounds amazing in both languages.
