| SeabassDebeste 03/20/24 6:57:31 AM #9: | i don't suffer from this one. rock is not that good a defensive type. it's the combination of being the first gym before you have a lot of good water moves, the combo with ground for electric resistance, and high defense.

Always really weird when they have a type that super-effects another, but doesn't resist it when being attacked back. best is gen 1 bug/poison being super-effective against one another, or ghosts/dragons being super vs themselves Isquen posted... I'm always more shocked at just how much crap Ice and Grass are weak to despite how good they are at attacking, surely "grass is a good offensive type" is incredibly biased by the first 2 gyms of RBY? thematically it totally makes sense that ice is fragile! --- yet all azuarc of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness ...
