oh. well that's fair, i don't think people realize her influence, that movie's influence, or nuance of TV back then. like you hear it in passing, see the extra media that came out of it - Wicked especially - and have a general idea but it's kind of a tired line. but that would put her with not just influence in movies, musicals, horror, depictions of witches, and the timespan is def long enough. It's true it's the kind of thing that's so monolithic and with an "it's always been that way" characteristic that people forget just where it originated from. The only reason I don't put Frankenstein's Monster on mine though is I think him being green varies too much, it's not always a consistent portrayal. --- I've decided to put my fears behind me.
