| SeabassDebeste 03/01/24 1:16:48 PM #353: | i'm talking "really casual nerd" general public territory and using myself (someone who's never read an issue of a marvel comic front to back) as a proxy, circa around 2000 - just before the x-men and spider-man movies, but long after batman and superman movies had become an institution. iron man was about the very periphery of my awareness at that point, while proximity to spider-man/batman/superman generally meant more recognition to me.
