Pre-MCU, the average person would struggle to name even 5 Marvel superheroes. Fantastic Four + Spider-Man gosh that was so hard. Any combination of five X-Men who were all in movies. This constant refrain that "nobody could name, you know, the stars of comics that sold millions of copies over the years" and had animated shows and films prior to the MCU is really asinine. --- "It is too easy being monsters.
