I don't think people are putting off getting an abortion until the third trimester out of laziness. I could be wrong, but if they're going in that late it's likely something went wrong that made the pregnancy no longer viable. Yeah, as I've heard one of my progressive pundits say multiple times, "Nobody is going to carry a fetus for 8 months and then just randomly wake up one day going, "you know what, I'm tired of this. Let's get rid of it"" Or something to that effect, basically nobody is going to put in that time commitment just to arbitrarily discard the fetus off "a whim".
