1. Stewart is seen as different from mainstream media, thus people have higher expectations of what his content should deliver. Yeah, I don't really care that he criticized Biden in a general sense, I just greatly dislike that in order to use Trump as a punchline he legitimized the Hur report and neither explained before nor after that both Hur and his report were bullshit and that it was just a political hitjob against Biden to appease Republicans since he couldn't give them indictments. Even the mainstream media is owning up to being hoodwinked initially by Hur (really it's their own fault for being so hard-on to hate on Biden for being old that they blasted the information on the first few pages before finishing it, but hey, at least they've been owning up to it at all) and Jon Stewart always informed his viewers and asked questions the mainstream media never would.
