not really imo. lebron back to cleveland was free agency iirc. and lebron to miami was a sign and trade at the end of a contract. which is basically you might as well trade lebron to where he wants to go or he could just not sign and leave in free agency and they'd get nothing anyway. kind of what people were talking about around the trade deadline this season. shaq didn't want to leave. lebron did. pretty different to me. What the player wants is entirely irrelevant vs. what happened, though. Shaq ended up being part of a super team. LeBron intentionally left a super team to try to lead a weaker team to a championship. If somebody hates the idea of "super teams," then they should hate Shakobe, regardless of how it came to be.
