| littlebro07 11/14/23 6:10:19 PM #1: | My wifes been a remote worker for over two years, from day one of employment. We just had a baby and she got three months of maternity leave, ending today. With us both being permanent remote workers we made childcare arrangements based on that.
She found out from her boss yesterday that theyre back to working in the office now so her first day back is in person. There isnt a single thing that she does in her job that cant be done from home. The office is a 40 minute drive from home so not only do we now have to figure out our childcare situation last minute, well also be spending a buttload of money on gas. bUt iTs gOod to CoLLaBorAtE in PeRsOn shut the fuck up no one cares about talking to their teammates in person instead of through teams or zoom /rant --- https://i.imgtc.com/MGGa6Os.gif ...
