They actually made a military version, the OA-1K Sky Warden. It has engine and cockpit armor, a bulletproof windscreen, self-sealing fuel tanks, and can carry 9,000 pounds of armaments on 10 hardpoints, including the APKWS rocket, GBU-12 laser-guided bomb, and Hellfire and Griffin missiles. When I was stationed in Alaska I got to see the 22s they had in the Combat Air Cell, which were crazy. I didnt realize how huge the planes were in real life.
