I'm not going to judge you for learning about LLMs in 2023, but they are not a new concept, they aren't a fad, and have nothing to do with whatever the hell a "tech bro" is. There are real world uses for this technology, but they're likely not for you. For example deepl is a translation service that has existed for a few years now that is built on AI.
