| Giant_Aspirin 07/06/23 4:44:57 PM #9: | don't think that's a carpenter ant. that said, carpenter ants only eat dead wood, they don't eat live wood, so they aren't a direct threat to your home like termites are. however, lots of carpenter ants means dead wood is nearby, which might indicate you have something rotting somewhere. this has happened to me twice, once there was some rotting trim wood on my exterior and another time the drywall and wood behind my shower was rotting away --- I hope something good happens to you today Playing: Octopath Traveler 2 ...
