Cellphones weren't the "I have my entire life on this thing" box, social media wasn't the all consuming tire fire it is now, and you could have opinions without starting arguments and actually talk about them on a personal level without having to pull up a Wikipedia page every sentence. I will never not miss that. Not to say things are bad now, but stuff was way fucking less stressful when you weren't expected to be connected to everything 24/7. I say this coming off a bad day and just unplugging from everything to unwind and having a friend call the police to wellness check me when all I wanted to do was chill and read for a day so my opinion could be particularly bias at the moment. ...
