The ocean is huge, there's no law enforcement, and it would take hours for anyone to realize the victim is no longer on the ship. Hell, the cruise ship might even help coverup the crime to avoid any bad publicity. Still, this whole thing reminds me of a few months back with the passenger who was rescued after accidentally falling off a cruise ship. The ship was able to bust a U-turn at speed and pick them up using a disembarkation boat. Rescue crews called it a miracle. --- "But who prays for Satan?
