adjl 05/30/23 10:46:58 AM #16:	Even better is just not designing everything around everyone having cars, since electric cars solve absolutely none of the infrastructure and safety issues that are inherent in the current car-centric design paradigm, but electric does at least make cars less smelly and noisy (though for sensible cars that don't deliberately make a ridiculous amount of noise for no reason, once you get above ~30 mph/50 km/h the tires generally make more noise than the engine, so electric cars aren't actually quieter at higher speeds). --- This is my signature.
