By then GPT-3 was already know to be something on the market for a while. We are just seeing its bubble phase where people realize that language models have both pros and cons to their use. The same thing can be said about both the 2D and 3D art art AI models, we had the whole "deepfake" porn AI program drop in what was that? 2018? 2019? It was only a matter of time before we got mass market AI image generation.
