Many of the best shows I've seen don't really grab me until several episodes in. Not a good idea to quit a show because it doesn't immediately captivate you. Often times it takes longer than that. IMO

Yeah most dramatic series have at least one introductory episode to set the table. I don't think it's fair to criticize any dramatic series without trying to make it through like two or three episodes.

That said, to each their own. Perfectly fine to dislike this show. It's been great imho but nothing can please everyone so there's bound to be people who don't like it.

At its core it's yet another zombie apocalypse, a concept which has been getting absolutely milked dry over the past several years. I could totally understand someone firing up episode one and going "Oh, this again?" and checking right the fuck out
