Even though I've played the game several times and know most of what's going to happen I was still anxious watching scenes unfold. They did a phenomenal job. Hope they can keep it going throughout --- What's better than roses on your piano? They clearly respect the source material (probably helps having one of the creators helping make it) and so far any changes theyve made have been respectful and have really only improved the story. ~~I really like the idea of the mycelium network connecting the infected.~~ Ive heard the creators are currently considering a three season arc for the show (one season for the first game, two for the second) and want to keep it faithful to the games to make adapting future installments easier. It was way different and way more negative. Spoilers ahead. So I was totally not expecting it to go that way. At the start, I thought Frank was just pretending to be gay to get to stay there and that is how they were going to play it. In the game, Frank eventually kills himself and leaves a note saying he hated Bill the whole time. Bill basically doesn't want anything to do with anyone at all, and hides that he was gay (or tries), he and Elli argue alot etc. Nick Offerman was great in this role and it's an interesting roll compared to his previous ones. The ending was honestly way better and it's one of the best uses of changing how a TV series goes vs a video game. It eventually has little to no effect on the over all story, while adding to it significantly. ~~Very good episode of 3 very good episodes, I am constantly impressed by the job they have done on this series and I wasn't even a big fan of the game.~~ --- Tacobot 3000 "Saving the world from not having tacos." But I like the post episode commentary but it's too hard trying to figure out where one starts and another ends. I skip ahead too far then I can just rewind 10 seconds but then I end up with a few seconds of preview I didn't want. Where did those zombies in the end come from? It was fairly heavily foreshadowed. Yeah SilentSeph I'm watching with my wife who has next to no knowledge of the game and she keeps asking how close the show resembles the game and I tell her it's not 1:1 but overall it's pretty faithful. Even knowing the outcome I'm still phased with how the show adds a layer of depth to the characters with more fleshed out dialogue and character building moments. Knew how the episode would end but damn it still got me --- What's better than roses on your piano?
