My self-assessment is that I don't have good features but I'm reasonably fit, dress and groom well, and practice impeccable personal hygiene. A few times I've told female friends just how little I've dated and they've come back with "I don't know why, it's not like you're a bad-looking guy," and they seemed sincere about it and not just saying it because they're my friends.
