Here is ZaziGuado on the choices this week:
"No real theme this week. Just three albums I saw and thought would be fun to listen to and then rank. All have had some time to shine in the pop culture spotlight, so there should be some familiarity here for most people.

Modest Mouse - Good News For People Who Like Bad News
--The band's breakthrough record and a wonderful blend of kinda weird indie rock and mainstream accessibility. People who were growing up in the aughts will immediately recognize Float On.

Mika - Life in Cartoon Motion
--Flamboyant pop goodness. Probably the most lesser known album (at least to Americans?) on this list, but Grace Kelly was a pretty big single and might be easily recognized and some of the other songs have been used in movies and such. Easily the most "fun" album of these three.

Oasis - What's The Story (Morning Glory)?
--I want to be on record saying that Definitely Maybe is the better and more consistent album, but I simply cannot deny the big hits from this album and my curiosity to potentially see how they shake up and if anything else can squeeze in between them."
