I watched Nightmare Alley tonight (it was okay), and it got me thinking, man, I bet you could make a list from those 3 Mexican directors who won all those Oscars a few years back. Well, I tried, and I got it to 24, at least from films they've directed. So not quite the 30 you're looking for but I'm sure it could be supplemented with ones they were the Writers on, maybe. Anyway, not sure if this is a decent idea or if it's been done previously. But I'll throw it out there in case it piques anyone's interest.
