It's actually likely to backfire because alot of people don't subscribe until multiple shows are finished on other platforms (HBO max/disney etc), which netflix usually had full shows release almost every month in the past, which meant many people just kept a subscription going.

It's the only one I ever had for a whole year for instance.

Disney is hit or miss, maybe 1/3 months has something I want to watch. I generally sub for it 2 months out of the year. HBO max I generally sub based on the movies it has (2 times a year or so).

Netflix was at least 6 months out of the year, but I have had it steady for the last year or so, and probably will at least for now. I still have a ton of netflix shows in my backlog, and still watch it more than any other streaming service.

The whole non-binge thing won't really affect me, and neither does the price increase (since it's cheaper than HBO max at least). Main thing that will is if they stop having good shows come out, but even then, it's gonna be awhile till I get through the backlog (probably at least a year). They also already have a bunch of upcoming shows I'm looking forward to, so yeah, I won't be going anywhere soon.
