The rule changes regarding mail in voting were in dispute. Court cases regarding the election results were thrown out, not on merit but for other reasons, leaving those matters unresolved. At least in Pennsylvania the mail in voting was found to be unconstitutional. These leave the unaddressed potential that a sitting president was removed through illegal or unconstitutional means.
