It's possible he just chose not to pursue that much competitive battling or something. But he'd probably be way too OP for this. Also I get why they did it but this bracket doesn't make IRL sense lol, #1 leon should be facing #8 ash, 2/7, 3/6, 4/5. It's too bad my guy steven has to get the first rd job.
