Sucks, wish people didn't try to hide negative aspects of the vaccine.

It's not so much trying to hide the negative aspects as it is trying to avoid blowing them out of proportion. The vaccines do indeed have the potential for serious negative side effects, but it's much rarer to see those side effects than it is to have comparably negative outcomes from Covid itself (for many side effects, Covid actually causes the exact same effect at a much higher rate/severity). Citing the side effects without mentioning their incidence risks scaring people away from the vaccine by robbing them of the ability to do an informed risk analysis.

So long as Covid continues to run rampant, the only rational conclusion a properly informed risk analysis will yield is that getting vaccinated against Covid is better than not. The only exception to this is people with allergies to one or more components of the vaccine, and even then they may be able to safely take a different one. I recognize that it can be hard to keep that perspective when you see the adverse outcomes realized like this, because it's human nature to overestimate the significant of personal experience in analyzing risks, but your personal experience doesn't change the objective risks involved.
