Amber tries to talk about how she had her friends come over to make her feel after this and when they kept trying to show text messages it got OBJECTED into oblivion. And literally the only text they're allowed to show is Amber sending a text to Rocky saying "I'm not good". That's it. That is the only thing they're allowed to show while Amber talks about how horrified she was. But what about texts to her parents? OBJECTION HEARSAY. Okay, but what about your communication with Kate James, your assistant? OBJECTION HEARSAY. "What if anything did you do... on that day?" "I reached out to friends and family and asked for help--" OBJECTION HEARSAY. Judge is over this shit now. And then Amber took Johnny's daughter out later. OBJECTION HEARSAY on whatever text or picture they want to show. ...And then she cried that night. And she went to Al-Anon which she says is a support group for people who love alcoholics. But what did she say to Stephen Deuters? OBJECTION HEARSAY. Okay but who is Stephen Deuters? Oh, Johnny's manager and friend. So what did she say to Stephen Deuters? OBJECTION HEARSAY. So what did she say to Johnny around that time? Well, through communication with his assistants-- OBJECTION HEARSAY. Okay but just tell us without saying what the assistants said. See, it's hard because he was texting THROUGH them and-- OBJECTION HEARSAY STRIKE THAT FROM THE RECORD. They get through this long enough to tell us some stupid story about Johnny begging her for forgiveness and her wanting to leave (again) and then thinking it would change. But did Amber draft and send an email to Mr. Depp? OBJECTION HEARSAY. Okay, but Elaine will set the foundation and can we just put up this email? OBJECTION HEARSAY. Okay... but... can she tell us... what she wanted to say to Mr. Depp... in that email? OBJECTION HEARSAY. Amber starts getting dramatically depressed. Okay so we can't see the email but can we find out what he said? Oh he was committed to changing and not drinking or doing drugs.

I just wanted to type it out like this so everyone understood how excruciating getting through this part of the story was for Amber and Elaine.

Next, we get to Dr. Kipper and the nurses hanging out with them, and Johnny is so messed up on them he drops cigarettes on his lap while they're lit (hint hint), and his emotions changed by the second. This broke her heart. :( It got to the point where she was up all night checking to see if he was still alive and not choking on his vomit. Because you see, Johnny was LYING to everyone and purposefully getting bigger doses of drugs to get more high before his detox! You want a receipt? Well he once fell asleep in a chair and she took a picture of it. Which is no different than those other pictures of him sleeping in chairs before, but this is WORSE now.

We're onto the detox though. Apparently during a detox he got UNREASONABLY horny and just wanted to have sex all the time while his body was in absolute agony. Apparently he just screamed sometimes because he was so upset (probably because he wanted his drugs to make the pain end, and she refused to give them to him). Eventually he slapped her across the face supposedly because she made him feel embarrassed and that she STILL feels bad about how she failed to help him because she just had no idea and just didn't know what to expect! But it was actually her idea to leave and Johnny put them all up into her bungalow. Somehow she made someone else's detox all about her which is special.

Blah blah blah Johnny is telling her to be more conservative to get jobs blah blah stunting her career blah blah blah Clive Barker blah sleeping with Sci-Fi writer (who is gay btw) blah blah therapy didn't work because he left and smoked weed. Notable is that Elaine keeps screwing up what is or is not in evidence yet. Total disaster now. Keep in mind that Amber did nude and sex scenes in a bunch of movies in this time despite Johnny supposedly keeping her from doing them. Eventually she does admit to some kind of fault for once when they insulted one another. A lot here can be verified but there's nobody on her witness list that can verify it at all sooooooooo... probably lies?

Lunch break. This is long enough that I'll post this half now. But it gets fucking insane with the other half of this days' testimony.
