And yes, Wanda is just this powerful. She once said "No More Mutants" and that shit worked. Wanda has been OP for such a long time now. One thing I liked was how she called Strange a hypocrite and complained that he's seen as a hero while she a villain for doing the same thing. The reason I love that is because they baby her in the comics.

They babied her so hard and then treated Scott like shit when he killed Xavier even though he had the Phoenix force and most likely needed to die.(Comic Xavier's a dick).

Heroes in comics will basically forgive everything. Wanda committed genocide on a multiversal scale, wiping out most mutants across all Marvel universes. The mutant population is recovering now thanks to Hope/Phoenix (insert Cyclops was right meme) and also now learning how to resurrect any dead mutant. Avengers are cool with her again, but nearly all mutants hate Wanda's guts though.

Wanda wiping out the mutants was so crazy OP, Marvel had to retcon it, so it was just basically a temporary thing she could do to an external power amping her up (Lifeforce). She is still very powerful without it, but not godlike universal reality manipulation anymore.
