Other times though it is a god that is toying with someone. In another somewhat common trope the gods are basically system administrators and the world itself is treated as a sort of video game, which can sometimes invite splitting summons into teams between the common races: humans, elves/dwarves, beast kin, and demons. --- "I'd rather betray the world than let the world betray me." -Cao Cao ...
