It's (from what I saw) similar in some ways to Diablo 3, it's the same type of combat. It has abilities per character/class and you can choose which abilities you want to put in your hotbar and gain more abilities as you level up.

It's a tiny bit more like D2 then D3 is in that you can actually advance abilities or put points in it, but.....not enough like D2 to interest me.

The combat is also VERY easy like D3...which was the part I disliked the most. In D3 you can at least avoid the story and zoom a character up pretty fast (now at least, not at laucnh). In Lost Ark you need to play through (50?) levels or so of extremely easy content before I guess end game happens. I don't know, didn't have the patience to find out.

Some people really like the game though, so I say give it a shot. It just didn't do it for me though.
