Also since I never actually answered this, it went at a pretty reasonable pace for me last time. I got held up at two major points, which was my Moon Pearl and (Go Mode) Hammer both being in other worlds, and this being async I just had to wait for the other player to get on and find them. My timer showed about 3 hours for a standard 7 crystals, which seems slow, but a decent chunk of that time was me practicing tricks and knocking off rust because I hadn't played lttp in a long while before this, as well as spending about 15ish minutes doing literally nothing except running around getting my in-game hint tiles (Default settings enable those!)

Probably the worst thing that can happen is needing to farm rupees to pay Zora without a glove available - Multiworld inherently means that you're less likely to pick up rupees out of random chests in your early game locations, and tree pulls/bush crabs are never guaranteed to have cash. I did this last time to buy you a deku shield, because I had nothing else to do waiting for my pearl <_<
