I think my least favorite part of owning a Switch is most games come out at $60 and stay that way for a long time. These days on Xbox, even an AAA game will drop $15 within 5-6 weeks of release. I'd rather drop like $30 on a Metroid game but I may just get it anyway because i've loved every Metroid i've played and this demo is probably gonna hook me. It's a pain, but also I'm going to get an OLED by trading in my boxed launch Switch and 7 games. Not even Smash Ultimate has depreciated much, so with it, Animal Crossing and some other titles, I'll be able to get it for roughly $70 cash.
