#80: Burn After Reading (2008) Coens

Brad Pitt is fucking great in this.

#79: Toy Story 3 (2010)

This is one of those movies where I constantly wonder if I rate it too highly because of nostalgia but whatever. From the opening scene, they lay it on thick and its a fantastic journey. Ken is an amazing new character.

#78: How to Train Your Dragon (2010)

Blew me away because I was not expecting much and then they played the Jonsi song over the credits, cementing its place on my list. If theres one way to permanently plant your movie in my brain, its a good ending song over the credits because I always let those play out the first time. I feel that credits are still part of the movie which is why its included in the runtime and the way the songs contribute to the overall mood and atmosphere are pretty important as well as giving you that cooldown period to RUMINATE.

#77: La Pianiste / The Piano Teacher (2001) Michael Haneke

Incredible performance by Isabelle Huppert and a painful painful film.

#76: / The Legend of Drunken Master / Drunken Master II (1994)

That last fight man

#75: Mean Girls (2004)

Insanely quotable and hilarious.

#74: / Ip Man (2008)

That second fight man.

#73: / Secret Sunshine (2007) Lee Chang-dong

I still maintain what I said about this having one of the strongest performances Ive ever seen.

#72: / Nameless Gangster (2012)

Its another mob movie but theres a new level of appreciation here for me because of the attention given to such specific details like the culture, time period and region.
