Exactly, but since Hockey and Ice Hockey are distinct sports, it gets slightly confusing. There is no just "hockey." There are multiple versions of hockey, each with a prefacing word, although when somebody says "hockey" it's assumed to mean ice hockey since it's the most popular version throughout much of the world.
