Like DMC3 has the spiders that are weak to Agni and Rudra but you don't literally NEED to use them to kill them. Even better are less direct weaknesses where the techs themselves just make it simpler to kill enemies. Like the simplest example is using the shotgun against Cerberus in DMC3 to blow the ice off his face-- not needed in the least but the shotgun puts out more hurty objects than rebellion or Ebony and Ivory do at that point so it's best. But when you fight him in new game+ or the boss rush this can be duplicated with different techs and weapons. But regardless red platform blue platform doesn't really matter at all. --- No problem!
