Well, MT is based on a LN series that came out around 10 years ago and I guess MiA started like 10 years ago, so they kinda predate a lot of the need to be gimmicky because the marketplace wasn't as crowded. I love Saga of Tanya the Evil, but I wouldn't want to be in that fucking world.
