The cast for the new Mario movie has been announced. It includes John Goodman, Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin, and of course, Mario.
John Goodman, Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin and Mario have been announced as the stars of the upcoming Super Mario Bros movie, which will be released in 2015. John Goodman, who has played Luigi in five of the eight Super Mario games, will play Mario, Josh Brolin will play Wario, and Kate Winslet will be Princess Peach. The third movie will star Josh Brolin and Kate Winslet, while the fourth film will star Josh Brolin and John Goodman.
According to a report by GQ, the plot for the new movie has been written by Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto himself. In the film, [Mario] faces a new enemy, the Cute Dudes, who are cute and cuddly, not scary.
The film also features the original Super Mario Bros. enemies, like Goombas and Koopas,
Nintendo have also hired some experienced voice actors to provide voices for their characters. In the role of the Koopas are Bill Farmer and Fred Tatasciore, while Yumi Hara and James Belushi are providing the voices for the Goombas. Tatasciore will also do the voice for the Cute Dudes in the film.
The Mario Brothers will once again play a major role in this movie, and we are also guaranteed at least one cameo appearance from Bowser. Super Mario Bros will be released in the United States on July 9th, and will be available to buy in a 2-disc Blu-ray, DVD, and as a digital download.
The plot will follow the original Super Mario Bros storyline, and follows the basic concept of the plot for the original two-player Mario Bros. movie, which was a side scrolling platformer where Mario must rescue his brother Luigi from various enemy types. Super Mario Bros, directed by Oscar-winner Jan Pinkava, will follow the same concept as the original film, although unlike that film, which was an animated film, Super Mario Bros will be an action/adventure film, directed by Pinkava.
In his official statement about the games film adaptation, Super Mario Bros director Jan Pinkava said: Mario has been the main man since the Nintendo Entertainment System. And he will continue to be the one and only main man in this new tale.
No word yet on whether the New Super Mario Bros will have the same quality as the Super Mario Land games that came out for the Wii. For now, its just a simple concept for the Mario Bros. to save the Princess Peach from the Cute Dudes. Super Mario Bros releases on July 9th in the US and worldwide on July 23rd.
Kate Winslet would actually be a better Peach.
The cast of the new Live Action Mario movie has been announced. Mario creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, and the people behind the popular video game franchise, were joined by a live-action Mario star from the hit cartoon series Super Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros. Super Show! In the movie, Princess Peach (Bridgit Mendler) and Toadsworth (John Goodman) are captured by the villainous Koopa (Michael Keaton), who plans to execute them for Princess Peachs crime of giving Mario the Mushroom power-up. With the help of their friends, Mario and Luigi (Bobby Trendy), they must find the way to escape Koopas grasp and save their friends. Mario director, Matt Lieberman, and producer, Dan Jevons, both revealed that the script has an emphasis on the family bond of the characters. Mario is not the only one whos a big kid, said Lieberman. Were all big kids when it comes to this. This is the first time a lot of these characters are on the big screen. According to actor Bobby Trendy, the cast of the movie is amazing. Everyones a star, said Trendy. They all just kind of go about their lives and help each other out when they need help.
The Live Action Mario movie trailer was released this past November. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on March 27, 2019.

The movie is being called the best thing ever, Johnson said in a statement announcing his role in the film, and I have to say, I think thats true, especially if you love Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach.
