I went with rum and cider. The place I went doesn't stock Cougar bourbon any more, so that's annoying. It had a really sweet taste - this comparison will sound gross, but you know how dead ants smell? It reminded me of that, without the putrid reek of it. But dead ants remind me of dessicated coconut, so maybe that's a more apt description.

I got a bottle of cheap rum - I haven't had this brand in years, it's a bottom of the shelf brand called Buckeye. They used to do a really good spiced rum, it was the cheapest thing on the market and it tasted awesome. The silver rum they did was like drinking water, and the dark rum tasted like shit and I had an episode while I was drinking it. This is the regular rum, but the bottle says "Caribbean Rum" and it looks lighter than the dark rum I remember.

I won't say I don't get angry when I drink, but It's been years since I've had an outright fit. I'm also drinking it with decaffeinated, sugar-free Coke, so it shouldn't be much of an issue.
