| Emeraldegg 08/23/21 8:36:36 PM #189: | Moose vs Moonstars Much like the X-men, the Moonstars are on the outside looking in going into this game. SP Slip Sauder responded with his best game of the season, 9 hits but only 2 runs over 8 solid innings. He did give up solo homers in the 2nd and 3rd but settled in after that. Meanwhile, the Moonstars hit back after each of those homers, but they got a 2 run homer in the 3rd instead of a solo shot, which ended up being the difference. The moonstars did have several close calls fielding-wise, including 3 instances of the ball bouncing off the pitcher and into the outfield, but the Moose were never able to capitalize.
