Or, instead of giving up like like a bunch of whiny, defeatist babies, we could cooperate with very simple, straightforward infection control measures like wearing masks and getting vaccinated as soon as possible and actually stand a chance of wiping it out. There's no shortage of diseases throughout history that have been successfully nullified by coherent, sensible public health responses. Nothing about Covid suggests that it's genuinely impossible to beat. People are just being stupid, and then people like you seem to think calling them stupid is unreasonable.
