It should not, however, prevent people from seeing the post that quotes you, which it sounds like they've done. It's very, very common for posts that quote a given user to contain plenty of information beyond that quote, including quoting and responding to other users. Eliminate the quote, sure, but hiding the whole post just needlessly interferes with normal board use. --- This is my signature.
