That would require some thinking and forethought, and a uniform approach from governments (some of which are still in denial that there is a problem, looking at you Florida)

As adjl already pointed out in another topic, Florida's vax rate is comparable to the rest of the nation and it's had shutdowns like the rest of the nation.

The pandemic planning started back in the Bush [W] administration, unfortunately it was thrown out the window by the previous administration because Obama strengthened the pandemic plan he was left with to the point that all the previous administration had to do was say "Go."

But since Obama was involved in any way shape or form, the 45th POTUS revoked the security clearances of the individuals who should have been running things, while promoting a drug that had no (and often negative) effect on treating covid patients, that 45 was also profiting off of.

Biden has been playing catchup since day one.

Propaganda is fun, isn't it? Although it's easier to hide propaganda when you can bring yourself to say a president's name instead of referring to him as a variant of "45"
