So it's not only a national thing here, huh? My family and I used to joke a lot about that exact same thing TV coverage is usually so poor that they just show beach volleyball whenever there aren't huge events taking place live (Swimming, Athletics, Gimnastics, Diving, etc.). And the worst thing is that they are often plain replays. Maybe it's just a fairly attractive sport that doesn't cost as much money as other events, idk. It hasn't been an issue anymore for us, though, since we've all been watching multiple disciplines live through a YouTube channel called Marca Claro. It has covered pretty much every event live (except for Skeet and Shooting... but oh well).
