Everyone finished it without a guide when it came out. Freaking great game. Had new game + as well. I literally used it to hone my reflexes as a kid (fighting those knights you could only hit from behind). Game was freaking gold. It and Wizardry Proving grounds were 2 of my "virgin" RPGs (Proving grounds was my dungeon crawler turn based first and Zelda was my action/rpg first.) FF6 was freaking god rank. I still have not tried BNW, but I used to play FF6 (3) over every summer during the game drought along with the might and magic games, until Diablo II came out (and phantasy star online). I really enjoyed Zelda II (and it's almost my favorite) but.....Zelda 1 was just amazeballs compared to any other game like it at that time. --- Tacobot 3000 "Saving the world from not having tacos."
