Though I'm willing to admit that might be nostalgia. But I mostly just like that it's more melodic and sort of wistful. The live-action one is closer to a dirge (which also fits), but in a way it's like the difference between something once lost but which may once again be found, versus something that's lost and gone forever. Though my favorite song over all might be this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AT18OJEPU9Q Mainly because I DO feel a ton of nostalgia for that one. That was basically my first introduction to LotR, and I absolutely loved it and watched the crap out of it as a kid.
