Ok, to clarify: I never personally gave a shit about that chemical. They took it out of the bread once I heard about it, so going forward it wouldn't have mattered anyway, and just b/c it's used in a non-food product doesn't mean it's harmful in food.

Fun fact - if people are worried about unsafe chemicals in their food, they probably shouldn't be eating bread at all. Or anything made out of potatoes. Or coffee:

Other Fun Fact: As Europeans love to point out more or less constantly, there's a chemical regularly found in American chocolate in the US that is also in human vomit. It's also in certain kinds of butter and cheese.

Though on the subject of cheese, let's remember that cheese as a whole is basically made by adding bacteria to milk. Bacteria? In my food?! Who do I have to sue to put a stop to this? I use sanitizing hand soap and disinfecting spray and get antibiotics from my doctor for a reason, damn it!
