I was in shelton Washington today trying to find food.

I went to many places, including subway.

By the end I gave up and drove to Mc Donalds figuring I could get food there. The line was insane, like, 20+ cars OUTSIDE of the long drive through line, but 20+ in each of two directions that fed into it lolz.

I was like....Nope, and backed up and drove away.

I went to Subway after that on the way back to the freeway.

I was like, screw it, I'll just get a meatball sub (I have ham/pepporoni/swiss at home for sandwiches but I wanted something hot).

First, they are 8$ base now lol.

Second, Shelton I guess doesn't have many places to eat.

I entered the subway and there was a line that looked like a freaking airport security line. It went all the way around the room 3 times. I would guestimate 30 people or so all together.

Two people only behind the counter.

I was like....NOPE....and left. I tried a last few places on the way out but A: They were stupid expensive (there was a burger join..you know the kind, on the side of the road that sells burgers/fries etc.....normally like 3-5$ for a burger (and thats only recently that much), and like $2-3 for fried.

That's the norm for drive up burger joints (Even in todays insane prices).

This place freaking charged $12 for JUST A BURGER. Not a double burger, not a bacon cheeseurger, just a normal freaking burger. $12 freaking dollars. I could buy 4 freaking POUNDS of hamburger meat for that. I could make like freaking 15 of their burgers for that price at home. I didn't even check how much the fries were. I just gave up and drove home and made a (probably less then $1 in cost) ham/pepporoni and swiss sammich with brown mustard on it.

Fuck eating out. The prices are just insane now. It's not that bad in olympia, but shelton is freaking insane.

Seriously I went to 2 chineese food places first, tried 3 other places before giving up and heading to MC d's, then did subway and that drive up burger place.

The world is getting insane.
