Topic12 Year Old N.C. Kid Graduates High School and College in the same Week!

I graduated 4 years early, but also skipped 2 years before that (as in didn't go to school those years, not skipping grades).

Instead of 12 years of school, I had 6 (and was bored to tears during those). When I skipped 4th grade (just didn't show up all year) they tested me at 12+ in reading comp and mathmatics. I didn't learn a thing after that, but it was a poor area/school, so all they did was move me forward to 5th lol.

I had a full scholarship since I had a 4.0 and tested very high, but I thought school/college was worthless since I was working construction and making $15 an hour (in the late 80's).

As an adult I regretted not going to HS though, since I didn't date in any way till 19 (in fact lost my virginity at 19 with a girl I met at a restaurant and slept with that night. Never got to hold hands, go on dates etc, all the stuff that normally leads up to sex etc).

They really should have colleges for young people who are more advanced and can handle college courses (not just AP courses etc that can count for college credit etc).

There are WAY more kids out there who could probably advance much faster and go straight to college instead of High School, but never get the chance. If you actually created a school for them, you wouldn't have the loss of socialization that usually comes with it, and you would have waaay more kids graduating college at 18 instead of just starting it.
