Just to ask, has crime really been increasing under Biden?
The FBI's crime data page isn't very user friendly in getting the numbers I'd want but from what I can tell the following is the case:

We don't even have finalized crime statistics from 2020 yet (due in September) let alone this year so it'd pretty damn difficult to make an authoratative statement on the crime rate and what it has or hasn't done under the Biden administration.

We do have preliminary data for 2020 and if I'm reading their (again, very not great IMO) charts then by percentage YOY overall crime decreased slightly, but violent crime was up slightly, and murder specifically is up a lot (as in a historic jump, by far the largest on record.) The rise appears to correlate with the pandemic reaching the US but it was up from the start. It's probably a fool's errand to try and single out any one factor for it but that would certainly be the lowest hanging fruit.

News reports that are frustratingly not providing me with good sourcing suggests that localities are suggesting the murder rate is still at the elevated level that 2020 provided but again I'm not seeing any good sourcing for that but if we accept it for the sake of argument then it's in the trendline started by 2020 (and again this would only be looking at murder specifically. Again, overall crime decreased in 2020 nevertheless.)
