Would it kill you to get out of your own bubble for five minutes and experience things you don't know about? Even if you don't like something, instead of shitting on it, say something like "It was interesting, reminded me of (this)" and try to relate it to your own interests. That's how you find what you have in common with people. Also, you've been offered a lot of advice on this board over the years and seem resistant to utilizing any of it. Work on yourself. You don't seem like a bad dude but your personality needs some work. Get out of your own head and open yourself up to new experiences, even if they seem lame to you.
